    The Superior Court of California, County of San Mateo, is currently seeking an exceptional leader to join their team as

    Court Executive Officer .

    • A completed County of San Mateo Employment Application Form.
    • Responses to the Supplemental Questionnaire.
    • An attached Cover Letter describing your interest in and qualifications for the position.
    • An attached Resume.

    The examination process will consist of an Application Screening (weight: pass/fail), and a Panel Interview (weight: 100%), which may include the evaluation of a brief writing exercise given immediately preceding the interview. Applicants must successfully pass the Application Screening to move forward to the Panel Interview. All applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed advancement through any subsequent phase of the examination.

    Tentative Recruitment Schedule
    • Final Filing Date: May 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM PST
    • Application Screening (tentative): May 27, 2026
    • Panel Interviews (tentative): Week of June 1 or June 8
    • Final Interviews (tentative): Week of June 25, 2026 (Background checks will be conducted prior to the Final Interview.)
