The City of Culver City, with a population of 40,000, is eight miles from Downtown Los Angeles and five miles from the Pacific Ocean, near the intersection of the Santa Monica and San Diego Freeways. A Charter City which incorporated in 1917, Culver City has a Council/CAO form of government and provides a full range of municipal services.
