Plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates staff involved in management analysis work in the Orlando Police Department (OPD) such as statistical analysis, staffing analysis, performance measures, grants administration, strategic planning, accreditation, organization development, municipal planning, and preparation of various management and technical reports such as those to the Department of Justice (DOJ) and status reports to the Chief. Coordinates, participates, and oversees various Department-wide management studies projects. Performs other duties as assigned .
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field and four (4) or more years' experience in advanced-level management analysis work and oversight and one (1) year working as a supervisor or in other leadership capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass police background investigation which includes polygraph (polygraph required with the exception of current OPD employees). Valid Florida Driver's License desired. Experience working in a law enforcement agency desired. Master’s degree preferred .

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
