Summary of position
To perform a variety of technical and professional work within the context of the commercial permit programs and activities of the City Engineering Division; as part of Community Development, and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Engineering Supervisor.
Minimum qualifications
Experience: One year of increasingly responsible experience in civil engineering.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering.
License or Certificate Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Arizona driver's license within two months of hire.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification from the State of Arizona.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Certified floodplain manager (CFM).
