Responsibilities

What you'll do - Initiate, execute, and manage leasing and commercial contracts to ensure agreements are accurate, compliant, and properly maintained
- Process purchase orders and invoices to support timely payments and smooth division operations
- Analyze, monitor, and support division budgets to promote fiscal accountability and informed decision-making
- Ensure contracts and leases comply with applicable laws, regulations, and departmental policies to reduce risk and audit findings
- Administer DocuSign requests and contract workflows to keep approvals efficient and well-documented
- Serve as the division Notary by maintaining required credentials and ensuring documents are properly executed
- Act as administrator for the RTS contract and lease numbering system to maintain accurate tracking and records
- Serve as records custodian for the division, ensuring files are organized, complete, and accessible
- Track and document badge access and keys in coordination with authorized signatories to support security and accountability
- Purchase office supplies and support day-to-day administrative needs to keep the division running smoothly

- Budget activity is well-tracked and aligns with division priorities
- Records, approvals, and documentation are audit-ready at all times
- Internal partners receive timely, reliable administrative and financial support
- Processes are efficient, organized, and consistently followed
Qualifications
REQUIRES - Accredited Bachelor's degree
OR - An equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience that includes the development and/or operation of administrative systems, programs, policies, and practices

- Ability to pass a 10-year TSA background check
- Valid State-issued driver's license in accordance with City of KCMO policies

Positions requiring a high school diploma/GED certificate must be obtained from a school/program accredited by the Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained. Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
