    Major Duties

    Under the general supervision of the Assistant Registrar, the Lead DPR Systems Analyst supports degree audit programming, policy interpretation, and system enhancements while ensuring accurate curriculum encoding and compliance. The incumbent resolves discrepancies, consults with campus partners, contributes to system upgrades, and maintains documentation and training that promote consistency, accuracy, and effective audit operations.
    • Programs and maintains rules for all undergraduate transfer coursework, including international courses.
    • Ensures that all undergraduate majors, General Education requirements, University requirements, and degree requirements are accurately encoded within uAchieve/DPR (Degree Progress Report) to support student progression and graduation eligibility.
    • Resolves complex audit discrepancies and collaborates with the DPR credential coordinator on advanced coding issues.
    • Interprets academic policy and ensures consistent application within the degree audit system.
    • Writes and maintains UACH/DPR procedures and documentation.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    • Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
    • Additional experience, which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above, may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
    • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.


    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    • Advanced knowledge of degree audit systems (e.g., uAchieve/DPR) and academic program structures, with the ability to interpret complex curriculum requirements, translate academic policy into system logic, and ensure accurate encoding of majors, General Education, and university requirements to support student progression and graduation eligibility.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research transfer coursework, evaluate course equivalencies, and resolve complex audit discrepancies. Demonstrated ability to apply policy, code exceptions (e.g., substitutions, waivers), and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners on advanced system and compliance issues.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to consult effectively with academic and administrative stakeholders, clearly explain complex General Education and university requirements, and respond to student and campus inquiries with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
    • Working knowledge of academic policy interpretation and student information systems, with the ability to collaborate with Information Technology staff on system analysis, testing, and implementation of enhancements, ensuring consistent application of policies within degree audit and planning tools.


    Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

    • Classification: 1344 / Business Systems Analyst III / 1
    • The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $ 7284 - $ 8705 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $ 7284 - $ 10,611 per month.
    • HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
    • This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
    • The position is currently hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
