What you'll do
- Provide onsite IT support in a secure environment by troubleshooting desktops, laptops, thin clients, mobile carts, printers, scanners, AV equipment, and peripherals so staff can safely perform critical duties
- Support specialized correctional and enterprise systems by resolving hardware and software issues while strictly following security, access, and chain-of-custody requirements
- Partner directly with correctional staff and administrators to diagnose issues, communicate solutions clearly, and maintain professionalism in high-security settings
- Manage hardware deployment and asset tracking by imaging, configuring, deploying, and documenting equipment within restricted areas to maintain audit-ready records
- Handle service requests and changes efficiently by resolving tickets, following escalation protocols, and supporting moves, additions, and modifications with minimal disruption

- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VPN, secured network shares, and authorized Wi-Fi
- Ability to image, configure, deploy, and repair equipment under restricted access conditions
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, ITSM practices, and detailed documentation standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to follow strict access, escort, and security protocols at all times
- Professional judgment, discretion, and situational awareness in sensitive environments

- An accredited Bachelor's degree and 4 years of technology experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and technology experience.
