    Graduate Student Intern - TEEX Research Office

    $15.90 per hour

    The Role at a Glance

    The Graduate Student Intern will provide general administrative, research and testing assistance to all levels of personnel. This position will assist with organizing supplies and files, assisting with proposal development, assisting with execution of research events, assessing data collection, and writing draft reports. The Graduate Student Worker will assist with planning and coordination for conferences and visits to the TEEX RPO. This position will utilize Microsoft Office 365 and other project software, as well as vendor provider software being assessed.

    This position works as a member of the TEEX RPO team and reports to the Program Director, Research Initiatives.

    Required Qualifications of the Role
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Current enrollment in a graduate degree granting program at an accredited college or university.
    • One year of related work experience.
    • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.


    Preferred Qualifications of the Role
    • Experience or education in public policy, safety or defense related fields.
    • Experience in researching and writing graduate level reports.
    • Interest or experience in technical products, programs and operations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Working with other agencies and encouraging involvement has led to better fire safety and emergency response, cleaner drinking water, better roads and infrastructure, improved homeland security, safer workplaces, heightened public safety and security, new therapeutics manufacturing and the evolution of cybersecurity.
