CAREER DESCRIPTION INVESTMENT ANALYST (PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS)

THE OPPORTUNITY The Investment Analyst (Portfolio Analytics) is an entry-level role designed to develop foundational skills in institutional investing through a rotational program across multiple asset classes.
This position focuses on quantitative analysis, data management, and operational support, forming the analytical backbone of the investment team. The Investment Analyst will leverage data, technology, and emerging AI and agentic AI tools to support investment processes, enhance efficiency, and improve insight generation.
The role provides broad exposure to investment strategies, teams, and processes, preparing individuals for advancement into more specialized investment roles.
SCOPE & IMPACT - Supports investment processes through data analysis, reporting, and operational execution
- Plays a key role in data management, system support, and workflow efficiency

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Quantitative Analysis & Data Support - Collect, clean, and analyze investment data across asset classes
- Build and maintain spreadsheets, models, and analytical tools
- Support performance analysis, benchmarking, and reporting
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of investment data
Operational & Process Support - Assist with investment operations, reporting cycles, and documentation
- Support due diligence processes through data gathering and organization
- Maintain databases, tracking systems, and internal tools
- Improve workflow efficiency through automation and process enhancements
AI, Technology & Agentic Tools - Utilize AI tools, automation platforms, and agentic workflows to support analysis and reporting
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards
- Identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks through technology
- Support adoption of new systems and tools across the investment team
Development - Support Directors, Senior Investment Officers, Investment Officers, and Senior Investment Analysts across different teams
- Develop foundational knowledge of markets, asset classes, and investment concepts
Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with internal and external investment professionals across all levels
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and responsiveness

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience - 0-3 years of relevant experience or strong academic background in finance, economics, data science,
or related field
- Internship experience in investment management, finance, or analytics preferred
Skills & Capabilities - Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience with Excel, data analysis tools, or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) preferred
- Interest in AI, automation, and data-driven workflows
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Education - Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field required

COMPENSATION, INCENTIVE, & CERTIFICATION PAY Compensation will be determined based on the experience level, credentials, and personal characteristics of the candidate. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is an at-will position. The role requires periodic travel for investment due diligence, industry engagement, and conferences.
