    Job DescriptionJob Description

    Instructor and Evaluator for the 10th Mountain Logistics Readiness Assistance and Training Team (LRAT). Performs the duties of Evaluator and Trainer (Supply Systems and Supply Operations). Evaluates Supply systems and Operations for all units (Active, National Guard and Reserve) assigned to Ft. Drum, NY. Proficient in the training, use, and application of the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A). Provides Army-approved GCSS-A Unit Supply Manager/APO Certification training. Analyzes the results of unit Supply Systems and Operations evaluations. Recommends methods of improvement and solutions to problems related to Supply Systems and Operations. Develops and provides technical briefings, reports and related documents to military customers. Research evaluation results to provide trend data and training recommendations. Develops tailored training materials and lesson plans regarding supply/GCSS-A operations and presents the training to soldiers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and Officers with emphasis on supply systems and equipment accountability. Research specific customer problems through all available military and civilian channels and provides guidance and reference materials when requested. Cooperates with and provides specific recommendations to other key support organizations (i.e. Command Safety Office, Director of Logistics, Physical Security, HAZMAT and the Logistics Assistance Organization) with relation to supported field.

    Requirements: At least 10 years' military experience in Army Unit Supply operations (retired military E-7 or above preferred). Minimum 2 years experience providing instruction in the Army Unit Supply system. Military Instructor certification preferred. Must have experience and in-depth knowledge of GCSS-A and Microsoft Office programs. Secret clearance required.
