    Job Description

    As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity while making a meaningful impact every day.

    Position Type: Full Time

    Pay Rate: $25.88 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
    • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout government buildings, transportation-related locations, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
    • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
    • Prepare detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or public agency personnel.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
