Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to identify potential concerns, document observations, and report security-related issues according to post orders and client guidelines.
• Support day-to-day operations by providing directions, assisting with visitor processing, and maintaining accurate incident and activity reports for assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
