As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driving Role in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal in a government location as an armed patrol professional in a driving post, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and integrity while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and movement within the location, verify credentials and/or permissions, and follow established protocols for contraband awareness and restricted item reporting.
• Support order at the location by giving clear directions, de-escalating tense interactions when possible, and coordinating with onsite staff and/or public agency personnel during routine and emergency events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
