About The Role: King County Wastewater Treatment Division inventory purchasing specialists manages over 15,000 unique parts in our secured stores to be available when requested and provides procurement services to the trades(crafts) for all other non-inventory items. This position is responsible for overall material readiness of all equipment at the Renton WWTP through the procurement and dispensing of critical spare parts and materials.

Supplemental InformationWorking Conditions:- Work Location: South Treatment Plant - 1200 Monster Rd SW, Renton, WA 98057
- Work Schedule: This full-time position works a 40-hour work week with either a 4/10 or 5/8 work schedule Monday-Friday. This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is overtime eligible.
- Union Representation: This position is represented by S.E.I.U. 925 (Wastewater Treatment Division)
- Physical Requirement: Must be able to routinely lift packages up to 50 pounds and Must be able to operate forklifts, pallets jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
