    Job Description

    As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.     Position Type: Full Time

    Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
    • Serve in an armed post while following all applicable post orders, use of force guidelines, and weapon handling requirements related to the assignment.
    • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and support controlled entry procedures for employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Possess at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related roles, law enforcement, and/or the military.
    • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
