    Job Description

    As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Guard in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an armed patrol professional. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.     Position Type: Full Time

    Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
    • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
    • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific protocols.
    • Support security-related operations involving sensitive areas and high-value assets by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or procedural concerns.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
    • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
