    Job Description

    As a Security Officer - Armed Rounds Patrol PT in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.     Position Type: Part Time

    Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location while maintaining required armed post standards.
    • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
    • Monitor and control access at entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, directing visitor traffic, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
    • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services when needed.
    • Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions, and provide timely communications to Allied Universal supervision and client contacts.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Have at least 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
    • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
    • Be at least 21+ years of age.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
