    As a Security Officer Experienced Armed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.     Position Type: Part Time

    Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeTue05:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, around entrances, parking areas, and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
    • Monitor access points and assist with checking credentials, visitor activity, and/or restricted area entry in accordance with site policies.
    • Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity, and communicate relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal management.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
    • Possess an armed guard card or license.
    • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
