As a Armed Security Officer Tactical Rover in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and helping to control access in accordance with post orders and location policies.
• Support law enforcement and/or site leadership during emergencies, investigations, evacuations, and other security-related events while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
