A sophisticated, well-respected Texas law firm is seeking a
senior-level Trial / eDiscovery Litigation Paralegal to support complex commercial litigation matters in its Houston office. This is a high-impact role for an experienced paralegal who thrives as a true
right-hand partner to lead litigators and brings
deep, hands-on eDiscovery experience -not surface-level exposure.
This role is not administrative and is not entry-level. The ideal candidate has spent years embedded in litigation teams, owns the discovery process, and understands the strategic role paralegals play in trial preparation.
The Role:
You will support senior litigators in complex litigation from
early case strategy through trial and resolution , with a strong emphasis on
eDiscovery management, document strategy, and trial preparation . Paralegals in this practice are trusted professionals with meaningful autonomy and accountability.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary litigation paralegal on complex commercial litigation matters
- Own the eDiscovery process from start to finish, including:
- Collection, processing, review workflows, and production
- Working directly within eDiscovery platforms (not just coordinating vendors)
- Managing large-scale document sets and privilege logs
- Partner closely with attorneys on discovery strategy , issue spotting, and case organization
- Prepare and manage trial materials, including:
- Trial binders and exhibit lists
- Deposition summaries and witness prep materials
- Hearing and arbitration support
- Draft, organize, and manage discovery responses, pleadings, and correspondence
- Maintain impeccable case organization and deadline control
- Act as a trusted extension of the litigation team , anticipating needs and driving matters forward
What We're Looking For:
- Substantial, hands-on eDiscovery experience , clearly demonstrated on your resume
- We are looking for depth : what platforms you used, how often, and in what capacity
- Experience must go well beyond assisted with or exposed to eDiscovery
- Trial-ready experience supporting complex litigation matters
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating seamlessly with attorneys
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
- Work alongside exceptional litigators on sophisticated matters
- Be treated as a true partner , not support staff
- High visibility, high trust role with real ownership
- Long-term opportunity for paralegals who want stability, respect, and challenging work
Compensation & Perks:
- Firm-paid medical & dental premiums
- $250/month HSA contribution starting Day 1
- 3% profit sharing (vesting applies) starting Day 1
- Paid parking
- Bonus eligible position
- Welcoming, no-ego culture with regular staff events and wellness perks
