Technology Support Specialist. The position is scheduled to work one of three Monday - Friday shifts: 4AM - 1PM, 7AM-4PM, 3PM - 12AM. This is NOT a fully remote position and schedules will rotate periodically. Schedules listed are part of a pilot program and may be adjusted to meet City needs.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Who we are looking for Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to provide front line technology support to internal customers and resolve hardware and software related issues for various computers, laptops, peripherals and other related equipment by means of troubleshooting, prevention and repair.

Minimum qualifications - A High School Diploma or GED supplemented by some college level coursework or technical training in a computer technology area; and
- 3 years of recent service desk experience with a variety of operating systems, software, hardware, applications, peripherals and problem resolution; and
- a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
- any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired qualifications - Recent hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Endpoint Management, including Microsoft Intune and device-based policies
- Working knowledge of Windows Autopilot for device provisioning
- Recent experience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID including user and device management
- Recent experience providing onsite technical support for hardware and software related issues
This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
