Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties operating and maintaining City of Bryan ’s Coulter Airfield.
Essential Job Functions- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Fuels aircraft by operating refueler trucks and operating fuel farm equipment.
- Assists in aircraft handling operations to include towing.
- Maintains airport runways including replacing runway lights and clearing debris from runways.
- Provides general maintenance for hangars and terminal building, including daily janitorial duties; secures terminal building at closing time.
- Maintains minimum airport grounds landscaping and trash removal.
- Cleans and performs routine maintenance on service trucks and other airport equipment.
- Maintains and performs inventory on tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Promptly reports all accidents, injuries, theft/loss, broken equipment, or other unsafe practices/conditions to management.
- Responds to airport emergencies as required.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED .
- Willingness to provide outstanding customer service to all patrons.
- Safety conscience and willingness to learn safe airport operations.
Equivalent combinations of education, experience, certification, and training may be considered
Licenses, Certifications & Special Requirements
Texas Class C driver’s license with good driving record as measured by the City’s evaluation system. -
