Position Description
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Pediatric Surgery Division is dedicated to deliver exceptional, comprehensive, and holistic medical care. Our mission is to provide excellence in health care to humankind through education, research, patient care and service, accomplished with honesty, integrity, compassion, and intellectual curiosity. Our doctors are fellowship trained, research-backed, faculty ready to provide the complex world of surgery.
Major/Essential Functions
- Provide Pediatric surgical and trauma call coverage at University Medical Center.
- Provide Pediatric in hospital surgical services while on service.
- Provide teaching to surgical residents and medical students.
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO/MBBS.
- Completion of a Pediatric Surgery Fellowship.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery.
