    We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Flagger I Traffic Control to join our Construction Division (CFN CX). In this role, you will help maintain safe and efficient traffic flow around active construction and fiber installation work zones. This position is essential to protecting both crews and the public while ensuring projects operate smoothly and safely.

    The ideal candidate is alert, dependable, physically capable, and able to communicate clearly in fast-paced outdoor environments.

    Compensation

    • $20.00-$22.00/hour
    • Full-time schedule

    Key Responsibilities

    • Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic using hand signals, signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices
    • Set up, adjust, and remove traffic control equipment according to site requirements
    • Monitor active work zones to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazards
    • Coordinate with field crews and supervisors to support safe traffic movement throughout the project
    • Properly maintain and use all required safety gear and traffic control equipment
    • Follow all company safety standards and procedures
    • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and integrity on every job site

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 6 months of traffic control or related field experience
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
    • Basic understanding of traffic control procedures and job site safety protocols
    • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
    • Strong communication and situational awareness skills
    • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
    • Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
