    Acquisition Professional – Level 3 Location: Fort Meade, MD area
    Clearance: Active TS/SCI required Overview Chesapeake Consultants is seeking an experienced Acquisition Professional Level 3 to support government acquisition and contracting activities for mission-critical programs in the Fort Meade area. The selected candidate will assist Government Program Managers and Contracting Officers with acquisition planning, contract documentation, and execution of acquisition strategies supporting complex programs within the Intelligence Community. Key Responsibilities Support Government Program Managers in the development and execution of acquisition strategies for programs and initiatives Assist in preparing acquisition documentation including Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Technical Task Orders Conduct market research and acquisition planning activities to support upcoming procurements Assist in the development of Source Selection Plans (SSP), Proposal Preparation Instructions (PPI), and Proposal Evaluation Criteria (PEC) Prepare briefing materials and documentation for Acquisition Strategy Meetings and pre-solicitation reviews Provide analysis and recommendations on acquisition policies, procedures, and contract strategies Support development of award fee plans and acquisition documentation for major and non-major acquisitions Assist with acquisition process improvements and ensure compliance with applicable DoD and IC acquisition regulations Provide support during source selections, proposal evaluations, and contract award activities Qualifications 12+ years of experience in DoD or Intelligence Community acquisition management, contracting, or contract management Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, Contracting, or related field Experience supporting government acquisition planning and contracting processes Strong understanding of DoD/IC acquisition policies and procedures Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Desired Qualifications Experience supporting NSA acquisition activities or Intelligence Community contracting environments Familiarity with source selection processes and acquisition documentation development DAWIA certification or similar acquisition certification
