    Intermediate Counterintelligence Officer

    Amentum is seeking an Intermediate Counterintelligence Officer to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Denver, CO area. Responsibilities include conducting CI/Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations across the DOE complex, working closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities, serving as liaison and interface with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility, providing case-related updates to the Senior Counterintelligence Officer (SCIO), facilities senior management and other DOE CI executives, providing CI/CT defensive briefings and debriefings to Departmental personnel in foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats, and serving as primary point of contact with scientific community departments within the DOE complex for the purpose of proactively mitigating foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats.

    Requirements include active Top Secret Clearance, a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college. A Master's Degree is desirable, ten (10) years of experience as a CI Officer/agent conducting typical CI program activities to include CI inquiries and/or espionage investigations, experience as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at DOE, the FBI or DOD and advanced interviewing and elicitation techniques, demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and functional computer literacy and proficiency in common computer and network applications.
