    Senior Executive Operations Specialist
    Washington Navy Yard – Washington, DC (Onsite) Echo Five Group (EFG) is seeking a highly organized and mission-focused Senior Executive Operations Specialist to support the Department of the Navy's Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) at the Washington Navy Yard.
    This position directly supports senior Navy leadership in a fast-paced executive environment requiring strong judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to operate independently. The selected candidate will play a central role in coordinating executive operations, managing leadership priorities, preparing high-visibility communications, and supporting day-to-day organizational effectiveness across a complex Department of the Navy enterprise.
    This role is ideal for professionals with prior Department of Defense experience who are comfortable engaging with senior leaders, managing competing priorities, and operating in dynamic environments where responsiveness and attention to detail are critical.
    An active Secret clearance and the ability to work onsite in Washington, DC are required. Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide executive-level operational and administrative support to Manpower, Analytics, and HR Systems (MAHRS) leadership.
    • Manage complex executive calendars, coordinate meetings, and synchronize leadership engagements across multiple stakeholders.
    • Coordinate travel, conference calls, executive visits, and internal/external events.
    • Draft, edit, and format official correspondence, briefing materials, executive summaries, memorandums, and presentations for senior leadership review and signature.
    • Track taskers, suspense actions, and leadership priorities to ensure timely completion and follow-through.
    • Support office operations by identifying process improvement opportunities and assisting with SOPs, trackers, and internal coordination procedures.
    • Serve as a reliable coordination point between leadership, staff offices, and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain professionalism and discretion while handling sensitive or confidential information.
    Desired Experience & Skills
    • Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or Department of the Navy organizations.
    • Experience supporting senior executives, SES personnel, Flag Officers, General Officers, or equivalent leadership environments.
    • Familiarity with Navy organizational structures, terminology, correspondence formats, and staffing processes.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare polished products for senior audiences.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining high attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Qualifications:
    • Active Secret Clearance (Required)
    • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
    • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience prioritizing competing requirements and meeting deadlines
