    Assessments Analyst (PTOC)

    Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking an Assessments Analyst (PTOC) to examine and assess the organization, identify, offer solutions, and draft procedures for improvement. Observes and secures information by assessing customers, processes, reports, then analyzing this information to determine relevant data and methods that should be used to analyze, define, and record the results and recommendations in a reporting format.

    The mission of the MSTP is to: Train and Educate Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Marine Expeditionary Brigades (MEB) Command Elements to conduct operations across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint, Combined, or Coalition environment.

    Requirements

    • Selected personnel will have an adjudicated clearance and access up to TS/SCI security clearance
    • Senior staff planning experience in Joint Operations Planning Process and the Marine Corps Planning Process at the Marine Division, Wing, or MLG staff.
    • Experience conducting tactical and operational level planning at the conceptual, functional and detailed levels for service and functional component organizations, as well as joint headquarters organizations; completion of an appropriate level of professional military education such as Intermediate/Top Level School (ILS/TLS)
    • Knowledge of, and operational experience, deploying and employing ground combat, aviation, supporting arms, and combat service support units and related equipment.
    • Knowledge of, and operational experience, with military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the operational command level.

    Desired Skills/Qualifications

    • SME Level - Master's Degree or equivalent w/ 7+ Years Direct Relevant Experience
    • Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.
    • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment

    • Normal Office Environment

    Travel

    • Approximately 15-20%, primarily to Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA; and Okinawa, Japan
