The selected individual will support PEO IWS 1.0 on AEGIS Development and Integration projects associated with Baseline 9 configurations of the AEGIS Combat System. Educations / Professional Work Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM degree program
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience; with preferably one to five (1-5) years of professional experience in engineering role. • Experience using systems engineering practices to design, manage, test, evaluate, and support technical projects
Required experience:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products • Experience working in a project oriented environment
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence or other similar tools
• Possess strong communication skills (oral and written) • Ability to work independently and in a Team environment Desired experience:
• Experience with Navy Weapon and Combat System
• Experience with Software Development and Testing The position will be located in Washington, DC and will require travel approximately less than 10% of the time.
