Search & Data Platforms
Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, relevance tuning, access controls)
Search across unstructured data (text, images, video, documents)
High-volume data ingestion and retrieval pipelines
API-driven search services
Backend & Data Engineering
Python (production-grade services)
SQL
FastAPI / Flask
Data ingestion, ETL, and pipeline orchestration
Dockerized applications
Linux (Ubuntu), Bash, CLI tools
Git-based workflows
ML / Analytics (Applied, Not Academic)
NLP pipelines (topic modeling, sentiment analysis, entity extraction)
Search + ML integration (ranking, enrichment, retrieval augmentation)
Experience supporting downstream analytics and dashboards
Familiarity with vector search / embeddings a plus
Cloud & Enterprise Tools
AWS and/or Azure
Databricks / Spark / PySpark
CI/CD fundamentals
Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization Nice-to-Have / Bonus
Experience in DoD, IC, or austere environments
Building search for shared drives or large document repositories
Handling image / video / text data in a unified search platform
Prior work with Palantir, Foundry, or similar platforms What This Role Feels Like
