    Position Overview OSAAVA Services is seeking a Senior AFSIM Integration Engineer to support advanced Modeling and Simulation (M&S) efforts within an Air Force C2 / C3 / C4ISR environment. This role focuses on AFSIM plugin development, simulation integration, and mission system interoperability. The selected candidate will support engineering teams responsible for integrating modeling and simulation capabilities with mission systems and operational platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in AFSIM development, C++ programming within simulation environments, and system integration supporting Department of Defense modeling programs. Key Responsibilities • Develop and integrate custom AFSIM plugins supporting modeling and simulation environments
    • Support simulation architecture design and integration methodologies
    • Implement and maintain C++ code within simulation frameworks
    • Integrate simulation outputs into C2 / C4ISR mission systems
    • Support testing, validation, and execution of mission threads within simulation environments
    • Collaborate with MBSE and systems engineering teams to support model integration and mission analysis
    • Assist with development and optimization of simulation architecture supporting mission system interoperability Required Qualifications • Direct hands-on experience developing within AFSIM environments
    • Strong C++ development experience within modeling or simulation frameworks
    • Experience integrating modeling tools within DoD or defense simulation environments
    • Understanding of simulation architecture principles and integration methodologies
    • Active security clearance (Top Secret preferred) Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with ITASE message APIs
    • Experience supporting Air Force or AFRL modeling programs
    • Experience supporting C2 or ISR mission systems
