This role is crucial for maintaining the cybersecurity posture of enterprise systems through proactive vulnerability assessments, compliance checks, and mitigation tracking.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and ad hoc vulnerability scans using tools such as ACAS (e.g., Nessus), SCAP, and SCC.Analyze vulnerability scan results, identify potential security risks, and produce detailed reports with mitigation recommendations.Support tracking and reporting of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) compliance.Collaborate with system administrators, security engineers, and other cybersecurity personnel to remediate identified vulnerabilities.Maintain accurate logs, dashboards, and documentation to support audits, inspections, and compliance efforts.Contribute to the continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and security practices across enterprise environments.Minimum QualificationsExperience using DoD cybersecurity tools such as ACAS, DISA STIGs, and eMASS.Knowledge of vulnerability management processes or experience in Information Assurance operations within a DoD environment.Ability to analyze vulnerability data and recommend effective mitigation strategies.Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security reporting requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 3/NACLC) clearance.Education & CertificationsRequired (Foundational - one of the following):Bachelor's degree in IT / Cybersecurity / Data Science / IS / CS (ABET or CAE accredited)OR CEH, CySA+, PenTest+, or GICSP.CE: Not applicable for this role.Why Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding critical enterprise systems and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
