    Role Title: Senior Appian Developer
    Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)
    Employment Type: Contract to Hire Role Overview
    The Appian Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing business applications using the Appian low-code platform. This role involves translating complex business requirements into technical solutions, leading development best practices, and ensuring high-quality application delivery across the project lifecycle.
    The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Appian development, data modeling, integrations, and performance optimization, along with the ability to work independently and guide junior developers. Required Skills & Qualifications
    Mandatory • Senior Developer Certification (Appian)
    • Minimum 12+ months of Appian development and delivery experience
    • Strong understanding of Appian architecture and core components
    • Experience with BPM and workflow automation concepts
    • Proficiency in relational databases and data modeling
    • Experience in designing and deploying Appian applications Preferred • Senior-level Appian development experience in enterprise environments
    • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and external systems
    • Knowledge of authentication methods (SAML, LDAP, SSO)
    • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment strategies
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
