    Corporate Security Officer

    Inter-Con is searching for aspiring individuals to join our thriving team of Security Officers. You'll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day.

    Summary:

    Security responsibilities include access control of all visitors, monitoring of security related CCTV, alarm monitoring/response, incident response/coordination with Security Operations Center, and security related reporting. Requires strong computer skills. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform access control related duties, to include guest management.
    • Greet guests and perform customer service-related activities.
    • Issue access badges, including temporary, vendor and guest badges
    • Monitor activities within the Reception Area through CCTV/Alarm monitoring.
    • Assist facilities team members as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must possess current Nevada Guard Card
    • Must possess a CPR/First-Aid Certification
    • Must possess a Valid Nevada Driver's License or State Identification
    • Requires proof of Education, High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various computer programs
    • Successful completion of a background review and drug screening
    • Demonstrated commitment to the security and reception team mission
    • Experience working with high-level individuals in complex, unstructured situations
    • Must have excellent writing and analytical skills
    • Must be able to create and cultivate trust and transparency in all relationships
    • Comfort/fluency in multiple security disciplines.
    • Requires the ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events as well as adjust decisions and actions to new information.
    • Ability to adapt and show resilience in response to changing circumstances.
    • Treats change and new situations as opportunities for learning and growth.
    • Requires the ability to build positive working relationships.
    • Ability to build and value interpersonal relationships.
    • Competency in building long term relationships consistent with current and future needs.
    • Requires the ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information.
    • Ability to effectively demonstrate understanding, communicate and clarify meaning for others.
