GEOINT Standards Developer - Imagery Standards (Senior Level)

Senior‑Level GEOINT Standards DeveloperMission Intelligence Group is seeking an experienced Senior‑Level GEOINT Standards Developer to support the development, maintenance, and governance of imagery‑related GEOINT standards across the National System of Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG) and allied partner communities. This role ensures imagery standards enable interoperability, mission effectiveness, and enterprise‑wide data sharing for operational GEOINT users.Your RoleAs a Senior GEOINT Standards Developer, you will provide technical leadership in defining, evolving, and implementing imagery standards that support exploitation, dissemination, and interoperability across GEOINT systems and services. You will work closely with government stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and standards bodies to ensure standards are operationally relevant, technically sound, and mission‑aligned .Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and maintenance of GEOINT imagery standards supporting NSG and allied mission requirementsProvide expert guidance on imagery‑related standards, specifications, profiles, and implementation guidanceTranslate mission and operational needs into standards requirements and technical documentationCollaborate with Government, industry, and international partners to coordinate imagery standards adoptionEvaluate existing and proposed imagery standards to ensure interoperability and mission effectivenessSupport governance, configuration control, and lifecycle management of imagery standards artifactsCoordinate with system developers and integrators to support standards implementation and complianceDevelop and review technical documentation, implementation guidance, and standards briefingsAdvise stakeholders on imagery data interoperability, metadata standards, and exploitation considerationsRepresent imagery standards efforts in working groups, boards, and standards forums as requiredRequired QualificationsClearanceActive TS/SCI clearance , with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraphEducationBachelor's degree or higher in a STEM or GEOINT‑related discipline, including:Computer ScienceEngineeringInformation TechnologyGeospatial ScienceImagery Analysis or a related fieldEquivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeExperienceSenior‑level experience supporting GEOINT, imagery, or intelligence standards developmentExperience working within NSG/ASG environments and imagery exploitation ecosystemsPrior NGA, IC, or DoD program or project experienceDemonstrated ability to operate across technical, analytic, and governance communitiesExperience developing or supporting technical specifications, standards artifacts, or implementation guidanceDesired QualificationsAdvanced EducationMaster's degree in a GEOINT‑, STEM‑, or imagery‑related disciplineStandards & Domain ExpertiseExperience with imagery exploitation, imagery metadata, or imagery processing workflowsFamiliarity with GEOINT or imagery standards bodies and working groupsKnowledge of interoperability principles across enterprise GEOINT systemsTechnical & Analytic BackgroundExperience supporting imagery analysts or operational exploitation environmentsWorking knowledge of GEOINT systems, services, or pipelines supporting imagery‑driven use casesBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision401(k)Life InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountPaid Time Off#J-18808-Ljbffr
