    divh2Dispatcher/h2pWork Schedule Comments: Monday through Friday, Generally 7am-4pm/ppPosition Overview: Plans the daily/weekly work schedule of drivers to maximize freight coverage in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Communicate and distribute appointment dates/time to drivers; owner operators and/or fleet. Communicate and coordinate between all IMC locations to maximize drivers time. Assist drivers with any equipment issues, detention time, rail billing, and any additional requests made of driver./ppEssential Functions:/pulliMust exercise discretion and use independent judgment when relating customer requests, appointment time and assigning orders to specific drivers daily to run road, local or city. Maintain A to B dispatching/liliComplete lines of dispatch in SWS from paperwork that drivers turn in daily relating to completed runs/liliHandle driver service failures up to and including the authority to issue verbal and/or written discipline. Additionally, contact Manager/Cargo Specialist regarding the failure/liliApply any additional charges including and notify customer service of changes/liliTrack/Maintain yard report, MDR, CNI, and Divisional Pool/liliActively participate in driver recruiting and retention/liliRequest rail billing/liliProcesses ATPs and Non-Productive pay. Review preliminary payroll/liliOversee drivers HOS and ELD updating/liliManage roadside repair/liliOversee and manage Rail/Port pins reservations LFD/liliOperating with a sense of urgency while handling challenging environments/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpSkills Desired:/pulliStrong data entry and computer skills/liliGood communication and organizational skills/lili35 years of intermodal experience preferred (not required)/liliKnowledge of DOT regulations and/or hazardous materials/liliAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment/li/ul/div
