    Location: Laredo, Texas Employment Type: Full-Time

    Vortex Freight Systems is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team in Laredo. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and highly organized, with the ability to manage fast-paced operations and maintain strong communication with carriers, drivers, and warehouses across the border.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate and dispatch shipments within Laredo.
    • Schedule and track pickups, deliveries, and border crossings
    • Communicate with drivers, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse personnel
    • Monitor load progress and provide updates to customers in real time
    • Resolve transit issues, delays, or unexpected changes efficiently
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation in company systems
    • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures
    Requirements
    • Previous experience as a dispatcher preferably in freight, transportation, or logistics
    • Experience in dealing with carriers, warehouses, and shipping processes
    • Strong communication skills. Bilingual Spanish/English.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
    • Knowledge of dispatch software and tracking tools is a plus
