The base salary range for this position is $127,000 to $159,800 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits. JOB DESCRIPTION Join our team as a System Engineer and play a pivotal role at the intersection of technology, customer engagement, and Agile delivery. In this role, you will work directly with users to understand their needs, translate feedback into actionable engineering solutions, and help drive continuous improvement across complex technology systems. You will collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and technical leaders to document system architecture, monitor system health, support Agile processes, and ensure solutions deliver real customer value. Essential Job Functions: * Partner directly with users to understand workflows, gather feedback, and ensure successful outcomes.
    * Transform user-reported issues into actionable engineering and development tasks.
    * Document complex system architectures, data flows, and operational processes.
    * Support system health monitoring and DevOps operations to keep mission-critical systems running smoothly.
    * Collaborate with technical leads to identify risks, track progress, and maintain accurate system documentation.
    * Contribute to Agile sprint planning, ticket management, retrospectives, release notes, and status reporting.
    * Help drive continuous improvement across technology, processes, and customer experience. Minimum Required Qualifications: * Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
    * Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
    * Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Working Conditions: Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager. Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Physical Requirements: May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Background Screening/Check/Investigation: Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
