As a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER (GS-0081-09), you will serve as a Station Chief responsible for oversight and direction of the day-to-day operations of a fire station with two or more firefighting crews (including a Crew Chief and assigned crew) who drive and operate firefighting vehicles of significant complexity, fight airfield and structural fires, perform crash and rescue operations, and assist in reducing and/or eliminating potential fire hazards.
