Job Description
As a Security Professional - Distribution Site - Weekends in Hampstead, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working collaboratively with your team and always acting with integrity to support a positive and caring workplace culture.

Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within logistics and distribution locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security experience is required.
- Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
