Visually check I.D. badges to ensure only authorized personnel are within ICE/NYSE facilities./liliPerform the function of Fire Guard to ensure the safety of personnel and facilities, while maintaining compliance to existing Fire Department directives and the related laws./li/ulpEmergency Management/pulliAbility to quickly respond to emergencies, which may include, but not be limited to, climbing stairs, ramps, etc., transporting emergency response equipment (trauma-kits, CPR/AED). If necessary, this person may be required to use deadly physical force as defined in Article 35 of the NYS Penal Law and as specified in corporate policy on the use of deadly physical force./li/ulh3Knowledge and Experience/h3ulliFive (5) or more years law enforcement and/or military (or a combination of both) is required. Current experience in responding to emergency situations, including training in firearms usage is preferred./liliThe individual must possess a valid drivers license and a New York State (NYS) armed guard license.
