    Overview In this position, you will work closely with clients to establish solutions to make them successful, broaden the effect of GIS technology to their business, and help shape the evolution of the platform by identifying new implementation patterns. You will provide solutions and thought leadership while promoting the use of Esri technology to enable customer success and support its development and growth into new domains by working closely with industry experts throughout the company.The contributions you make will support our Defense and Intel customers. The work you do will enable customers to make meaningful decisions by leveraging location intelligence. The teams you will work with are collaborative and forward leaning. We will benefit from the experience of working together as part of an extensive network of industry and technology experts.The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the technology envelope and ultimately deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our users be successful.Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Norfolk, VA area for this position. This position would be onsite with a customer at Langley AFB.Responsibilities Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platformProvide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisionsIdentify the value of location within customer workflows and drive substantial return on their investment in Esri's enterprise platform and servicesDevelop and present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizationsCollaborate with customer IT organizations to align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri's technology enterpriseWork independently and as a team to execute project tasks, deliver services, and implement solutionsGrow expertise in a broad range of ArcGIS software components and business contextsRequirements 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilitiesEagerness to work closely with customers to solve interesting problemsProfessional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (desktop, server, and online)Proven experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIsProactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Defense and Intel domainAdvanced ArcGIS Platform Configuration skillsAdvanced programming and scripting experience with Python, Arcade, and/or HTML/JavaScriptKnowledge in modeling and managing logical and topological network dataSystem administration experience on WindowsActive Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, geographic information systems, or STEM related fieldRecommended Qualifications Master's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, geographic information systems, or STEM related fieldCompTIA Security + certificationDomain experience around Defense and Intelligence content workflowsExperience with current technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented and cloud computing architectureSystem administration experience on Linux and KubernetesExperience taking systems through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processUnderstanding of IT integration concepts such as databases, web services, webhooks, mobile device configurations, web browsers, IT system architecture conceptsTotal Rewards Esri's competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
