Contingent upon prime contractor approvalPurposeValkyrie Enterprises has need for a C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst in Huntsville, AL.In this role you will become a member of a team with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.Job DescriptionUse working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fieldingDevelop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement ListsInterpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integrationPrepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partnersDevelop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadershipInteract daily with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand)QualificationsMust have a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or master's degree and at least 12+ years of relevant experience.Must possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines.Must have experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements.Must be capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS.Must have experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD.Must have expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution.Desired QualificationsPrior MDA experience, preferred.Security RequirementsMust have an Active Secret security clearance, which requires US CitizenshipTravel RequirementsTravel required; 10% or lessIf position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
