Description
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate changes to ATCPolicy documents and coordinate and track change proposals provide SME input.
- Prepare, review and edit FAA Policy Document Change Proposals (DCPs) in compliance with the FAA ATO Mission Support Services Policy SOP requirements.
- Communicate with FAA Facilities and other program offices to coordinate policy changes.
- Provide assistance to field facilities concerning policy changes.
- Provide full-time on-site support to the FAA Mission Support Services Policy Directorate (AJV-P) located at FAA HQ in Washington, DC.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Terminal, Enroute and/or Oceanic Area Operations, Policy and Procedure Development
- Specialist or manager in a field ATC facility, District, Service Center/Service Area office, or at FAA Headquarters
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, or science plus a minimum of 15 years ATC experience in a LVL 8 or higher FAA/military equivalent ATC facility
- In lieu of an applicable bachelor's degree eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted (23 years of experience in a LCL 8 or higher FAA/military equivalent ATC facility)
