OneWater Marine's service team is seeking a highly motivated Master Technician to join our team. The Marine Master Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of marine engines, electrical systems, and onboard equipment. This role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of marine systems to ensure vessels operate safely and efficiently.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair inboard and outboard engines, sterndrives, and propulsion systems
Perform routine maintenance, including tune-ups, oil changes, and system inspections
Repair and maintain electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems
Install and test marine equipment such as navigation systems, radios, and accessories
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data
Lead and mentor apprentice technicians, providing training and technical guidance
Stay current with new marine technologies, tools, and repair techniques and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs and maintain accurate service records and documentation.
