Position Summary

Odyssey is looking for an amazingly talented C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team! In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Team. This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
  • Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
  • Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
  • Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
  • Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
  • Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Clearance: Activer Secret clerance

Education: Bachelors Degree

Years of Experience: 20+ years of relevant experience

Skills:

  • Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
  • Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
  • Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS
  • Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD
  • Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Master Degree

Years of experience: 12+ years of relevant experience

  • Prior MDA experience

Additional Information:

Location: MDIOC, Shcreiver SFB

Travel: Yes- level TBD based on Customer requirements

Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Customer site; telework authorized, subject to change at the customer's discretion
