Location: Colorado TerritoryWork Model: RemoteAs a Loss Control Consultant , you'll use exceptional communication skills to work with insureds, agents, and company personnel through consultations and educational guidance.Key Responsibilities of the RoleProvide loss control services to policyholders and agents in the assigned territoriesComplete surveys of policyholders' operations and provide consulting services to reduce accidents and injuriesMake effective agency visits to key commercial agents to explain Central's loss control services and resourcesAnalyze claims, hazards, and safety data to make effective decisions and recommendationsProduce professional and detailed reports for underwriting of accounts surveyed and recommendations made to insuredsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Safety, Fire Prevention, or a related field and two years of experience in loss control & accident preventionOr four years' experience in loss controlValid Driver's licenseMust be able to climb ladders and access building rooftopsPreferred QualificationsExperience in safety and health—commercial insurance backgroundAbility to work toward a designation of AINS, ARM, CRP, CPCU, CFPS, CRM, ASP, CSP, OHST, CRIS, or TRIPKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong organization and territory planning skillsAn innovative and continuous improvement mindsetA positive, professional, cooperative, and quality‑conscious service attitudeAbility to work under pressure, deal with interpersonal conflict, and handle a heavy workloadAnalytical and problem‑solving skillsVerbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skillsAbility to understand Central Insurance's policies and processesAbility to make favorable impressions with agents, insureds, and company personnelSkill in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Ability to travel including occasional overnightTotal RewardsCentral establishes base pay based on several factors including labor market data and an evaluation of candidate qualifications relative to role requirements.
