This is an operator role, not a development position, for a candidate with existing BPI proficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and correct Network Inventory directly within a production Blue Planet Inventory environment.Perform standard inventory actions, such as adding cards, modifying connections, correcting inventory mismatches, and validating reconciliation outputs.Provide real-time, front‑line support to Blue Planet Inventory users by triaging workflows, validating data, and troubleshooting provisioning issues.Guide users step‑by‑step through BPI network inventory functions in real time.Apply telecommunications domain knowledge across Ethernet, Transport (DWDM, TDM), Voice, and Offnet services to validate inventory accuracy.Escalate system‑level issues to the platform team and integration issues to the IT department, while resolving user‑error issues directly.Coordinate with the Network Inventory SME team on data reconciliation work requiring BPI front‑end execution.Document recurring Blue Planet issues, patterns, and workarounds for continuous improvement.Required Skills & ExperienceHands‑on Blue Planet Inventory front‑end user experience in a production environment.Demonstrated ability to build and correct Network Inventory in a production BPI environment.A background in telecommunications with knowledge in one or more of the following: Ethernet (Metro 1, Metro 2, Metro 3), Transport (DWDM, TDM), Voice, or Offnet.Fluency in standard BPI inventory actions including adding cards, modifying connections, correcting mismatches, and validating reconciliation.A user or operator orientation; this is not a developer role.Communication skills to interface directly with stakeholders during real‑time troubleshooting.Comfort operating in environments with incomplete or ambiguous information.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience at a carrier running Blue Planet in production.Past experience with legacy inventory systems such as Amdocs/ASRI, PRO, TIRKS, or Ericsson/Granite.5+ years in telecom carrier environments with at least 2 years actively using Blue Planet Inventory.Prior experience supporting a carrier inventory migration or consolidation program.Familiarity with adjacent OSS systems like 3GIS (fiber/geospatial) or Palantir (cross‑domain integration).Experience working in blended or follow‑the‑sun team structures across multiple geographies.Everforth Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
