Responsibilities:
SAP Security Program Management
- Plan, organize, and support Advanced Programs Office activities while ensuring SAP, SCI, and multi-discipline security compliance with DoDI 5000.83, DoD, USAF, and Intelligence Community directives; develop Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIPs) and establish processes where gaps exist.
- Provide subject matter expertise and oversight across information, personnel, physical, industrial, and cybersecurity domains, including interpreting and applying policies, resolving complex security issues, and ensuring consistent implementation of DoD, United States Air Force, ICD, and MAJCOM requirements.
- Manage end-to-end SAP access lifecycle, including nomination packages (PSQs, ePAR), eligibility validation, indoctrinations, PIF maintenance, visit certifications, and entry authority lists.
- Oversee adverse information reporting and coordinate with SAPCO, APCO, MAJCOM, and Air Force Office of Special Investigations to ensure compliance with personnel security standards.
- Conduct initial, annual, and periodic facility clearance surveys and inspections of SAP facilities to ensure compliance with DoD, IC, USAF, and MAJCOM requirements.
- Document findings, develop corrective action plans, and coordinate with Cognizant Security Offices (CSOs).
- Review and validate classification guidance and contract security requirements, including DD Form 254, ensuring proper protection, handling, and dissemination of SAP and classified information.
- Develop, interpret, and implement SAP security policies, procedures, and guidance aligned with national, DoD, and USAF objectives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, create new processes as needed, and integrate security requirements across Wing operations.
- Develop and administer the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program, including lesson plans, briefings, and training materials, while ensuring compliance with training and awareness requirements.
- Support the Wing Program Manager in prioritizing workloads, assigning tasks, monitoring subordinate unit performance, and adjusting operational priorities to meet mission requirements and optimize resource utilization.
- Maintain inspection reports, compliance documentation, and program records.
- Develop continuity folders with SOPs, templates, and procedures to ensure seamless role transition and operational continuity.
- Utilize SAP access management systems (e.g., ePAR) and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) to manage documentation, tracking, and communication.
Clearance & Eligibility
- U.S. Citizen with ability to pass background investigation (FBI fingerprint check and NACI)
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
- No disqualifying legal, administrative, or employment history
- 2+ years as SAP Security Officer with additional security experience (concurrent acceptable)
- Strong expertise in SAP security frameworks and multi-discipline security operations
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory guidance
- High attention to detail, organization, and professional judgment
- Ability to perform in fast-paced, mission-critical environments
