Position Description
This position assists in the overall operation of the Unit Medication Room and distributes patients' medications from filled prescriptions.
Major/Essential Functions
- Delivers and administers patients their ordered and prescribed medications.
- Within the scope of the specific credential of the team member, will support clinical activities in the health facility under the direction of the facility director and nurse management.
- Actively participates in all assigned training related to the Correctional Medication Aide Program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent. Must complete the assigned training program within 30 days of hire.
